...and the modding begins. Just bought LTs, ORY, o2 sims and a crapmaster Super 40 with a turndown. Thanks to Sean at Speed engineering for a good price.

just an FYI, if you don't already know, o2 sims are not being produced anymore...so grab em if you can.

I just turn off the SES code for the rear o2 sensors being in the trash can instead of on my truck. It saves about half a pound on a 5600 lb truck. I'm all above saving weight.

Nice mods, post up your results.

It tells the computer that the rear O2's are reading the proper amount of oxygen in the exhaust after passing through the cats. You need them (or a tune to delete the code all together) when you remove the cats.

I wish I had the software (or the confidence to try and tune it myself). You know anyone on Long Island, or lower NY that can tune it for a case of beer, if so, let me know.

i'm sure you could get a dyno tune. go over to the eastern section of LS1Tech and ask there.

Yeah, I thought of that, but its gonna cost more than the sims did, and I am not really looking to go crazy. Little perf. boost and a nasty sound, I'm happy.

Hell, I still have the stock airbox.

I was just hinting toward the lack of motivation for performance, thats all...although I might cut a hole in it for some more air...

Whats the story with the mail order tunes? I got one done for my lt1 z28 a few years ago, but it only netted 8rwhp and I had IAC issues after that.
