Default Finally finished my Dual exhaust.......

Finally got some time to redo my exhaust today....

I chopped the merge on the Y pipe off of my ebay headers which left me with dual 2.5" pipes. I ran two 2.5" pipes back into a pair of Flowmaster 10 series race mufflers. Then dumped both of them in front of the passenger side rear tire. (My old setup was 3" pipe after the Y Collector into a dynomax race Bullet and dumped before the rear axle.)

All in all I like it. Love the looks ( similar look as a gibson super truck catback system) and the sound is awesome. Very deep and loud. Going to have the tune looked at next week to see if there needs to be any minor changes to be done. Doesn't feel much different driving it though.

It consists of a pair of these:

Flowmaster single Chamber 10 series mufflers 2.5" in/out

And the Tips:

Quick Picture...sound clip soon.....

Sounds pretty good man. I did the same thing with that Y-pipe on those headers, and originally went to a pair of 40 series, the drone was too much, and I wanted it quieter, so I got a set of magnaflows, and they're just as loud. So I'm thinking either 70 series flowmasters, or couple of long magnaflows.

Yah these are LOUD...... I pulled into the driveway and my wife said the stuff was shaking on the shelves. I will have to quiet it down some when I finally move back home to Wisconsin.

Sounds good, and I'd imagine it'd be loud. Looks like it's tucked up nice too. Any pics of the underneath?
