Default Finally fired-up the 427 this weekend (vid)

It has taken months to get all the parts together and assembled. Got it in the truck and fired-up this weekend. I still have to modify the exhaust for hookup. It's LOUD!

Specs:
Katech resleeved LS2 block, billet mains, ARP studs,4.125" bore
Callies Dragonslayer crank, 4" stroke
Callies Compstar h-beam rods
Mahle coated pistons, flat top (12.5 to 1cr)
LS6 ported pump
CompCam 242/248 642/649 HR112LSA+2, custom profile
Morel lifters
Cometic head gaskets (.041")
ETP LS7 heads, 2.20" coated Ti valves, 62cc chambers, Patriot extreme duty
springs, Ti retainers
Jessel 1.8 shaft mount adj. rockers
LS7 intake and fuel rails
Nick Williams billet 90mm TB
ATI torsion balancer
Kooks 1-7/8" S/S tube headers. coated
Custom 4L65E with Rossler transbrake

WOW! that thing sounds like a fuggin monster!
Nice!

for some reason just because you had extensive motor mods i assumed you had alot of body mods too but i was wrong, thats a sleeper right there

makes me miss my truck sounds like it has some compression to it

Static is 12.48 and the DCR is 8.8...should run fine with the 100 octane I use. Might even get by with 93!

ouch, i knew i heard compression but wasnt expecting 12s. with your numbers that should have alot of power, above/under the curve and peak.......good luck with it

NICE. Did you have open cutouts or is it just that loud. Anyhow that is a badass engine set up.
