Default Finally got my LS1 powered Truck done

Here is my S10 that I just finished up. After two years of coming home from school every weekend to work on it, it's finally done! Just thought I would share it with all of you. The engine bay shots are not up to date because I now have a direct port NOS fogger but other than that this is what the truck looks like. LS1 S10

Great Job! Your work really paid off. Post up your times if and when you plan to run it.

Very nice!

If you can find a way to shield the air filter from the engine bay and pull from a cold air source, you'll be more than happy with the results. In the summer, my trucks open filter suffered very high intake air temps which really hurt power. It doesn't look like you have much room to work with, so maybe relocating the battery is an option.

Its not really a problem with the air filter like that, according to my data logs with Autotap my IAT drops down pretty close to ambient when I go to WOT. The cowl hood along with the big grill openings manage to rid the engine bay of stagnant air. Thanks for lookin out for me though

Of course my truck is different, but if I ever get stuck in traffic and the engine bay gets heat soaked, my IATs will go neat 150*. Then even at 70 mile an hour freeway driving, my IATs will be near 20* above ambient for a few minutes until everything under hood starts to cool off.

Here is my setup:
