Default Finished cam swap

Just finished installing the comp 212/218 .522/.529 with comp 915 springs. Runs like a champ after the swap. The low end torque is down just a lil nothing serious but it can be felt a little. Upper end is a whole new game. Freeway onramps are fun to say the least. Install was a learing experience and i will post a mini how to soon. I answered a lot of questions on another post
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210216

If anyone needs pics, help with their swap, or just general questions about the cam, its performance or the install feel free to pm or email me

I also have before an after videos of the exhuast if anyone wants them.

Did you install it with any advance, was there any advance ground in, or did you install it straight up?

I love it so far. But yes i definately want it tuned. It keeps kicking down gears pretty hard and it feels like the converter is lockin and unlockin at a slow crawl so hopefully tuning can fix some of that. Other than that it runs fine at idle but ireally want to bump up the shift points, 5500 isnt high enough for this cam it feels like it has a lot more after that.

Stock shifts arent NEAR high enough. I cant toy with my tuning yet. Edit cables aint updated.. Im poor, switchng jobs at the present time. The constant misfires the PCM is detecting at idle are causing the TC to lock/unlock. Gotta kill the misfire codes or decrease the misfire detection sensetivity to cure it.

Yea, my SES light pops on every now and then. Then it goes out and logs a soft code. When I check it out with ATAP it is the misfire code every time. I need a tune!!!!!!!!!!
