yeah factory coils now I have a newer set on the way. So the tr55 is colder than a tr6 plug. can a plug pull to much heat out?

The lower the number on the NKG chart the hotter so the TR55 is a little hotter than the TR6... Remember, a little colder plug might cost you a little power but wont tear up your motor. You will have to pull the plugs and read them to get a good feel for what is going on and which plug works best... What works for you may not work for me and so on.

so 2 1/2 or 3 inch exhaust? true duels? what mufflers?

now its headers to no-catted Y then magnaflow 22incher split into 2 1/2.
