Went on the dyno tonight for the first time...only mods are in sig plus a Diablo Sport handheld with the 93 oct. tune.

What's a 5.3 H.O.? I have only heard of the 6.0 VHO.

 

L33 = HO
Get a good tune and you should be up around 300.
I put down 304 with intake, catback and shortys with a good dyno tune on the L33

 

So, what's different internally in the regular 5.3 and the H.O.?

 

i think its an iron block rated at 315hp as opposed to my 295hp aluminum block... the HO isnt flex fuel either (not all aluminum blocks are either though)

 

The L33 is a aluminum block rated at 310hp
