First trip to the track with the Duramax
Best 1/4 mile ET of the day was 14.30 @ 91.2 mph with a 1.97 60 ft time.
Best 1/4 mile mph was 92.17 mph and best 60 ft for the day was 1.94. I could not get my 60 ft times any better than that or all 4 tires would spin. When all 4 tires spin, the truck feels like it is going to destroy itself.
I didn't even try running in 2wd. It also seemed to run better with tow/haul OFF.
My mods include the non-hot juice with the attitude monitor and a 4 inch exhaust from kennedy diesel. I also have 33 inch BFG mud terrain tires. I have an eaton front e-locker differential, but I wasn't using it today.
I wish I had enough money to spend on an aftermarket allison transmission and some more power chips because my ET would be 12.30 instead of 14.30.

Jorday you need to drop the tortion bars down untill the tierods are flat and not at a upward agle. That should stop the front end from jumping around. There is a reason I'm called TieRod, I've only bent 3 sets of them. BTW nice time.

awesome times! i agree with lowering the position of your suspension until it is in a loaded position if you want more traction. the juice is just amazing with the duramax.that should be enough to make the gas engine boys plenty jealous. oh yea, you drag your truck AND you can still tow the hell out of it too!

Yup, it's the 125 hp box on my truck. I whipped every ricer there, lol. There was a trailer car mustang GT there and I had him until the last 100 ft probably and then he got by me. He ran 13.8. This truck really does it all, I love it. I tow my trailers with it, race it at the track, drive it to work, play in the mud...all while getting 18 mpg in a three and a half ton truck.
I gotta figure out how to get a transmission and then buy the quad 215 box.

Well in time grasshopper. Try a TransGo and a converter, that should hold another stacked box for a while anyway...
