Thumbs up Flashing Battery light be gone!

Well, for anyone who followed my failed attempt to turn off the flashing battery light by running a wire after the install of my 02 PCM and those who would like to get caught up, here's where I was at until tonight:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ashing+batt+lt

Got home from work and went right to it (after eating a little steak). Piece of cake...bolted right in like it belongs there, and GM belt# 12576451 fits like a charm. Fired er up...and the flashing battery light is friggin GONE! (a small part of me is gonna miss that periodic red glow out of the corner of my left eye....NAH!)

Thanks for all of your help to everyone involved...especially creederado for trying all of this stuff first and providing us with top notch write ups with all of the necessary info and part numbers

Damn! I wish this thread started about 3 months ago (and that I had joined in time to read it). I ended up ordering a PCM from PCMFORLESS.com mostly to have them program out the light. I haven't noticed much of a SOTP performance difference.
