Default Flex fuel injector?

Are the stock fuel injectors on the flex-fuel 5.3 motors larger than the stock non-flex fuel injectors? What are the size diff if they are?

Are there any other differences between the two motors (flex vs. non-flex)?

I don't think they are 90 pounders, thats huge. I was thinking around 34 or 36 pound injectors. Which is large enough for most every N/A truck.

I checked again with the R&D guys at the shop...........They say 90 pounders!! I will check with the big cheese when he gets back on tuesday, it does sounds a little far fetched to me. I know when we sell a Radix for the flex fuel trucks, they go out without injectors.

What's the verdict on these injectors? I have a set just sitting around, if they're 90 pounders or a little less, they are going in! Would I have to tune for these injectors through edit or are they plug and play?

I am having a hard time believing they're 90#ers. I thought they were somewhere between 32 and 35# injectors.

Blown - Was it towards the end of the day on a Friday when you asked the R&D guys? Go ask them again and see where they are getting this info from.

Definitely not 90 pounders - close to 32 pounds.

From a 2002 LS1 Edit file - 5.3 Flex fuel injector flow rate = 4.16
