Default Flex-A-Lite Recalling Fuse Holders

I had my second maxi fuse holder melt down today. I had got a ride to an audio shop and got running again.
Called FAL and was asked if I had received my recall letter yet. I had not. He said it's according to where I made the purchase, when I will get my letter due the they are working down a list. He is shipping mine today. They are going to a different type.

Mine are the 282's on an 03 Z71 with the second version VSC and the fuse holder was supposed the be the second run improved model.

I had two of those replaced. Now I removed the VSC box and I have some custom relys made by Nelson Performance.

I'm scared to even look at mine, it might decide to melt down. So far no problems with it for a LONG time now.(knocks on wood)

I got mine in last week. I noticed the new fuse is 30 amps now as opposed to the older 40 amp.
