Talking Flo-Pro 2500 HD Big Oval Saves Marrriage!

I guess that makes me money ahead....

Well I gave the Flow-Pro 2500 HD Big Oval model 2503 (the HD Big Oval models are designed specifically for GM 6.0 and 8.1L) a try today, and all I can say is - WOW. Finally, a product that works as advertised. I was skeptical about the ad on their website www.flopro.com claiming the model 2503 had nearly the same interior resonance as the OEM muffler. But this one is!

Around town was awesome, very quiet, and took it out on the highway. Hardly hear anything at 70mph! Wife was with me and was very happy.

Not sure it gives me an extra 25HP (only the dyno can tell me for sure) but it was around 100 here today so not much cold air to suck into the Radix.

At any rate, if anyone is picky about noise, this is the performance muffler for you. It is not cheap (although I got a great deal from Grant at Capilano Muffler since this is a new product and he too was curious as to how well it would work - Thanks Grant!) but in my opinion well worth the cash.

Anyone want my 1 month old Magnaflow?

Thanks to everyone who helped me with their muffler advice.

What are the specs on your magnaflow? I'm interested.

Glad the flopro worked out for you.

It is either 22 inch or 18 inch. I have it in a box in the back of the Denali, so will go measure now and post details.

I just clued in to this "Private Message" function thing, and GoShawk23 had sent me a message of interest on July 13 which I read like 10 minutes ago. So to be fair, I will give him a day or two to respond, and if he is not interested, then if you still are, let's try and make this happen.

I will give you the same offer I gave him: $70 U.S. plus you pay for shipping. As I mentioned to him, with me being in Edmonton, and you guys in the states, the cost of shipping may make it more economical for you guys to buy from ebay or a local shop. I am just looking to get around $100 Cdn for it since I paid around $190 for it (plus good old G.S.T. of 7%) less than 1 month ago.

Going to measure now.

Well my estimate of 18" the other day was wrong. Tape measure says 22"

Duh is me. Probably interested in this too:

3 inch single outlet. Looks like 2.5 dual inlet. Whole thing is about 12 inches wide and 6 inches high, not to mention 22 inches long.

Hope this helps a bit more to identify the model.

Is that a 22" muffler body, or 22" including the pipe extensions?

22" long body. Extensions are extra. One additional item which may be of interest: The muffler shop told me it was the "straight through" model.

Anyone know what Magnaflow muffler model # this equates too?
