What is the exact flow rate of 8.1 L truck injectors, Ive gotten alot of mixed answers

31 Lbs/hr I belive

 

LOL....I had this post all worked out for the marine injectors, actually Multec II Shorty injectors when I realized you wanted it for the truck 8.1 injectors.

I am not really sure, but if my memory has not failed me again, they are rated near 33 lb/hr. LOL...don't take this as gospel.

 

I need the exact flow rate, anywhere I can find this info. online

30 lb/hr @ 43.5psi

Now all you have to do is determine the flow @ 58 psi.

 

Are these the same ones used in the Radix kit? If so, my HPTuners says the PCM is programmed for 41.667 lb./hr.

 

No those would be the 8.1 marine injectors I believe and 02sierraz71_5.3 is asking about the 8.1 truck injectors.

only problem is its scaled guess Ill use the 34.64 value across the board

 

for those who would like to know the 8.1L injectors flow 40lb/hr at 58 psi the 30lb/hr is at 300 kpa which delphi rates them that way to match the fuel rail pressure of the 8.1 rails, the 5.3 injectors are rated at 25lb/hr at 58 or 400 kpa. The reason delphi did this again is the differences in the systems they are used on this is where I was getting confused.

delphi part number fj10494 for 8.1 fj10062 for 5.3

Called up delphi and talked to them they have great customer support
was also told that I need to watch what type of drivers the pcm is using there are two types hopefully someone will jump in.
Is there a difference between the 5.3 pcm injector drivers and the 8.1 pcm injector drivers?

Also some interesting info is that all injectors including other manufacturers are designed to only operate at a max of 80% this is why I hadnt melted the stock 5.3's running them at 120% duty cycle.
