Default Flowmaster to Magnaflow

Ill soon be swapping over, and ive only found two 3" dual magnaflow mufflers. One being 18" long & the other one at 22" long. Anyone know how much of a change in sound between the two? My current running the 70 series big block dual 2.25 cut out to 3" flowmaster. Love the sound, but hate how it kills performance.

Like to get close to the same noise level,if at all possible. Exhaust clips would be nice, but any help is good.

How it sounds now, kinda shitty video

Wot run

im running the 22" magnaflow on my truck with no cats and si/so 3.5" exhaust and its quite a bit quieter than your current setup. id say go with the 18" di/do or get two si/so 14" 4 or 5" round magnaflows to get close to the current sound level youve got.

Thanks Zach,
My buddy runs a si/so 3.5" corsa with cats and it's pretty quiet too. So the 18" huh, I was think the 18" too. Just don't want it louder then what I have now. Highway driving ain't bad, has a pretty low tone inside the cab @ 75mph. 35 to 45 has a little bit of drone.

Guess I'm just waiting on 05gmc to see what his sounds like..

im about to swap my current setup with ARH 1-7/8" longtubes w/ catless midpipes and a corsa touring. itll be about the same at idle as my current setup but quite a bit louder under load. i just doubt the 22" magnaflow would be anywhere near as loud as your current setup. i love the sound and performance of my exhaust but at times i feel like its too quiet for me, lol

im in the same boat it i think, truck i just got has true dual pipes with flowmaster 10s, then dumped, i just dont like flowmasters, and the mufflers are so close together, i could probably pull off a dual inlet muffler with a single or dual outlet exhaust, i just dont want a loud truck anymore, so i need to find a suitable replacement, truck has dual cutouts anyways
