There seem to be several people on both sides of this debate. I don't personally know anybody, off the top of my head, that has the other brands, so I can't comment on them. I know that I, and seems like everyone else in my area, have a Flowmaster. I like it, except that everybody elses newer Chevy truck sounds like mine now. Hopefully a set of Pacesetters, in the near future, will take care of that.

A couple of things to remember before changing your VHO/SS exhaust. The stock exhaust flows pretty good and that little resonance chamber on the exit side of the muffler is there for a reason. There are a few of threads on here that you may want to look at before you buy an exhaust for that VHO. I would hate for you to spend money on something and not be happy with it.
The 6.0s resonate and drone pretty bad which drives some people insane. The larger Magnaflow and the FloPro HD mufflers minimize this significantly and yet flow quite well. I'm sure I missed a brand or two that work just as well.
