Default flywheel question

i was wondering, when doing a LS1 swap with the 60E trans, can i use the flywheel from my 4.8 or do i need to get an ls1 flywheel? thx fellas

60Es dont use flywheels

if you mean using the ls1 flexplate its the same

Flywheel = manual trans
Flexplate = auto trans

But yeah, the flexplate is dependent on the tranny, not the engine. If you don't change your tranny, you shouldn't have to change the flexplate. The only one that would be different would be if you were using an early 6.0 with the longer crankshaft.
