Found a 4L80E...got a ?
Sorry to bug everyone again. The pos 60E has got me worried of late. I've decided to not even waste my time or money to get a beefed up 60E. It cost a small fortune to build one that is still far from indestructable. My goal with the new motor on a 250 shot is to run low 11's. I'd imagine running anyform of 4l60E in this situation would be risky. So basically I've decided to do a 60E to 80E swap. I found a local dismantler that has a a 80E that I might be interested in.

$1250 Navarra Truck and Van Dismantlers USA-CA(San-Jose)
I'm not exactly sure what the codes mean but was wondering if this would work with a LS1 347 in a RCSB set-up. I know there are things you have to change to do the swap, but I take it would be no different bolting this tranny to the LS1 as compared to say a iron 6.0 liter block. I kind of bummed though, just got my converter and shift kit from Tbyrne, and now I have to get different stuff O well, thanks for any help fellas. Late
