Default Found a loose ground wire the other day

Must have not been hooked up since I swapped out motors over a year ago. Never had any check engine lights or anything weird happening, but I hooked i up anyways. I'm just wondering what it was for now.

It was 2 black small gauge wires (14 gauge estimate) that come out of the wire that runs to the red jump box. The ground location is meant to be with or around the main ground coming from the negative battery post to the block. I traced where the wires went the best I could and went up somewhere near the starter/oil level sensor/crank sensor, but couldn't really tell where it went because it was all wrapped up.

Any ideas? I had no check engine light or anything on for over a year with this disconnected.

IIRC i have two small wires that are grounded, using one of the two bolts holding the red box to the front accessory piece of the motor.
