why would you want to do that? its not very healthy to use your engine as a break anyways and i personally like being able to let off the gas at 55mph and its pretty much like setting cruise control. i wouldnt really want to all of a sudden start slowing down.. to each his own i guess.

i agree with spooled, i wouldnt want mine to start downshifting.. i like for mine to go as far as possible before slowing down... so when i go to accel again, im not to down on speed. (keeping the MPG Up)

I agree, but you can taylor the tune so it only does this "downshifting" at lower speeds. Again, I don't have it that way...to each his own is right. FWW, I use DFCO ALOT and it is an engine brake all on it's own as well.
A smooth transition to the slower lower gears is beter than using them to slow you down. Less stress.
