Frustrated with new 1/4 time
Back in May with just the radix (3.6 pulley) I ran a 14.099 @ 95.59 with a 2.089 60'. The conditions were 66 outside, humidity 75, and barometer 29.70. Last night, with a 3.4 pulley, TOG's headers, magnaflow muffler, and ET streets. I ran a best 14.135 @ 97.22 mph with 2.117 60'. Conditions were 80 outside, humidity 50, and barometer 30.05. I'm pretty pissed because I thought I would finally be in the 13's. I'm hoping it has something to do with the heat. What do you guys think the problem is? I see about 6lbs of boost with the 3.4 pulley.

The DA difference should be about 700 feet. That's about 3% less air, which is maybe 1-2/10'ths and 1-2 mph slower.
You really have to look at the mph. ET depends too much on traction. You gained over 1.5 mph and if DA was the same, you would have gained around 3 mph.
With the same 60' and same DA, you'd have ran a 13.8 or so.

look at it this way... with everything in my sig fastest ive ran is a 14.9... Tucson is 3,000 above sea level, and at night when we run, its about 85 degrees... now THAT is a big downer.... plus its monsoon season in the summer, so we have humidity mixing in with the heat... its a time killer...
