FS: Custom 375CID Forged Pistons, rings...
I am selling a set of never used 6.0L .060 overbore forged pistons.
They are made by CP pistons of Irvine Ca. They are designed to be used with a standard SBC 6.000 inch connecting rod and a .060 overbore on a 6.0L. This way you can run a nice forged piece for a relativly low cost. They are made with Fly cuts for use with a nice large lift cam if desired. These pistons would be perfect for Nitrous, Forced-induction,or Natualy Aspirated.
Anyway, They are brand new in the box. Also, they come complete with rings, wrist pins, and spirolocks.
$450 plus shipping.

soo, not the stock rods? by SBC you are talking about before the lt1? what kind of machining is required on the crank if any to use these rods?

The LS1 crankshaft uses a standard small block "big end" size. It is a 2.100" diameter. LS1's use standard SBC rod bearings. Therefore, you can use any manufacuter's SBC rods. No special machining of any kind is required (except for the overbore).
By custom ordering the pistons this way, it opens the door to use any of the multitude of connecting rods, from very inexpensive to out of this world.

you keep throwing this to the top and making me think about it. i need some forged 6.0 pistons but here is why i am not interested, corret me if i am wrong because if i am wrong i may be interested.
i have a blower on a 6.0. i would like to run a little to alot of N2O, figure i might get away with a 50shot on the stock bottom, upgrade the bottom and go for a 100+shot. from what i hear some forged pistons and rod bolts will probably hold at that level(aprox 500-550rwhp). if i went with those pistons i would end up with more money in rods and pistons than if i just got a set of pistons to fit the 6.1" rods.
am i missing anything? are the stock 6.1" rods up to the task? i am not trying to knock your pistons just making sure i am not pasing up a deal here.
