Question Fuel Filter Removal, Special Tool?

Well I went to change the fuel filter on my parents 02 Tahoe and its not like my camaro where you just pop the keepers and it slides out. Do you need a special tool to get the keepers to come loose on the inside or what does everyone do to get it off?? Help greatly appreciated!

OK so does anyone know where I can get this tool (real store, not internet)? Alternatively, how do you get this ******* thing off without the tool? This is retarded...

I wanted one today so i could change this stupid thing. I got one at O'Reilly's that they swore would work, but it doesn't, the little fingers are too long and I can't get it under the fitting. **** it i'm going to return the tool and the filter and just let the dealer do it if I ever have to take it in.
