Fuel injectors
Im replacing the fuel injectors in my 05 avalanche 5.3L NOT flex fuel. but after spending some time on google i havent been able to find anything half deacent or anything that i can find enough specs and reveiws on.
So im curiouse to hear what some peoples recommendations are for a good Fuel injector.
Im not looking for anything to hardcore(yet) but since i have to spend the money on new ones now id rather ones with more preformance/tunability over OEM replacements.
my bad if this is a noob post. but this is my first truck and build so im still a noob trying to learn,

fuelinjectorconnection.com has 42 lb/ hr injectors that i assume come from marine 8.1 since gm truck 8.1 programming suggest trucks are 32 to 35. they will fit your engine but you have to tune. do you have any mods that you need injectors?

i wish i was running a new set up:/ someone poored water and a bunch of other unkowen **** into my gas tank, so i just finished getting all that delt with to find out it caused 2(that i know of so far) of my injectors to die. so i figure i might as well replace them all and step them up from the stock ones.
so pretty much i dont need the extra injection ATM,, but since i need to replace them now and plan on doing work to the truck this winter to beef up her power, itd be nice to have ones that'll handle it when need be.

well i was looknig to upgrade from stock and buy new... but if they will work in my 05, and your price is cheap enough, i might just put off upgrading the injectors until i start doing mods.

I have a gauge for that

Internal wise I would recommend a cam, springs, and pushrods, everything else should be fine. If you mean 500 to the wheels its going to take some work with stock heads; I would probably go with a 70mm turbocharger in your case and some 60lb injectors would do nicely. If you run e85 you may want 80lb injectors though.
Also, be prepared to spend money on the transmission and rear end. 500hp is not nice to those parts in a heavy truck like the avalanche.
