Default Fuel leak near whipple?????Please Help!!

I have a whipple 5.3. Once removing the engine cover, there is a silver cylinder between the whipple and the intake manifold. It has a red and black wire connected to it, and is Tee'd into a fuel line. When I turn the engine on, fuel sprays out from near the red wire connection. I am not sure if it is a whipple part or, if it is a sender for my autometer fuel pressure gauge. I cant drive it to the shop because fuel shoots everywhere. Please help! I can get a picture to someone if they think they can help. Thanks everyone.

I think autometer had a recall a while back on certain fuel senders for leaking. You might want to give them a call to see if you have the recalled sender. They'll probably send you a new one for free. Here is Autometer's number

(815) 895-8141

or you can go to there site and email them.

http://www.autometer.com/hp/

You'll have to bleed the fuel system down and cap that connection until you can get a new sender if that's the problem. Shoot me a pic @ xlr8nss@bellatlantic.net if you have one.
