Bought a fuel pump last night and a new fuel filter, me and a buddy started at 8pm and HD the new one in the truck by 11 pm. It came out super easy even with 10 gallons in it, but it was hard as hell gettin it back up there with the fuel in it. I saw no reason to pour it out because it was super clean in there, no brown **** or dirt or anything.

Also figured out why the gas gauge wasn't working, the sending floater unit had fallen off and was sittin in the bottom of the tank. The new pump came with a new connector with a harness, I had to cut my old wires and splice the new one on. Said it was because the old connectors would get loose and this is a new design.

Anyways, the truck fires right up now, runs great, and my gas gauge works again!
