Question fuel pump flow?

Does anybody know the actual flow rating in liters per hour of gallons per minute of the stock truck fuel pump? I want to put in a bigger pump but I kinda need to know what I have to start with. Couldn't find anything on a search.

It might be best to add an inline pump. I dont think anyone offers a performance pump for the trucks yet. You can use a performance pump for an f-body but I have heard the pick up isnt the same and if you get down to 1/8 tank of gas it will bog under heavy accell.

My experiences with inlines are that they are noisy and I don't want that. I already acquired another pickup/pump assembly and I am prepared to modificate whatever is necessary to install a hipo in tank pump. I am thinking about one of the big Walbros for a Mustang. I currently run a 'Stang 255/lph in my LT1 powered 94 work truck.

DO you run an inline Pump ?
I'm going with the high pressure walboro inline 340
I also going to have my intak pump modified by racetronix to a walbro intank
should be good for upto 700rwhp with my new rails and fuel lines

The inline pump that came with my Radix kit wasn't to bad as far as noise went. Only time it was noticable is when I had the small o-ring on the fuel pressure regulator mess up and it was constantly pumping full bore. Even then it wasnt to bad.

I installed a 255l/ph in my truck, not that bad of an install. Wish I would've taken some pics. I found some pics in the fueling section, try a search.

i had the walbro gss340(255lph) inline, it wasn't loud at all, the only time i could hear it was when i was in a drive thru or something like that and even then it wasn't loud. no louder than most stock fords i have heard. the fbody guys say a stock pump is good for 450rwhp and with this inline added in 600rwhp. i would have to say that prety much matches what i saw.

if you dont plan on going over 600rwhp then it is a very simple and cheap way to go. i would love to see someone work out a max effort fuel system though, something simple and very effective that i could copy.

I should have one for you real soon
I'm going to end up using the stock feed line as the return line. Then I'm going to run a new feedline from the tank to the new intank pump
should be good for some real power and not be too expensive to do
I also have new fuel rails coming and reg
I'll post some pictures when i get all the gear
