Default Fuel pump location for Procharger

I have seen a couple of the ones the guys here have for their Sc's(not necessarily Prochargers) and I see the ones that are mounted after the filter, between the filter, and engine.
It says in my manual to go between tank and filter. I am doing it this way because I know about some probs with stuff getting up in the regulator, and other things.
Doing it the right way, there isn't much room, so I put my mount bracket on the bottom of the cab, under the foot area of the ext cab. I did not want to put it on the outside of the frame, because we have freezing temps a good part of the year, and ice gets caked up there really bad.

Is it ok to mount the booster pump on the body like that?
I also mounted the relay for the pump, and ran the power wire under the truck and tied it up next to the mount I put in. I am taking the install slow, because of having surgery recently. I also have the FMU bolted up, and did the PCM re-locate yesterday.
What is the big fabric like strap with the holes in it that came in my kit?
same question- the long aluminum bar stock around 20" long, no holes in it.About an inch wide.
Thanks, I am sure I will have more questions soon. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
BTW, I did get the injector flow rate from GMCSKI's truck figured out. THANKs alot Jim for sending me that file!!
It was 5.22 all the way across. I guess this is all I need to run larger injectors to start as a base? <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" /> Sam

I mounted mine on the body and it works fine. With an ext. cab you have a little more room to play with. I am going to trash my FMU. It did not help me with my tune, but it looks like my truck is an odd ball to tune.
I think the strap you are talking about goes on the intercooler, it acts like a scoop under the truck. I have no clue what the bar is for.

The long Piece of flat metal is for the rubber piece that attaches to the intercooler you screw into it and sandwich the rubber.
Tht's about all you need to do with the injectors .To tune them in you might need to screw with your fuel preasure a touch .
If your gettin the larger injectors to start .
Get rid of the FMU Unit it is a piece of ****.
let the computer figure out when to add fuel.
In terms of fueling you'll notice that in stock tune the Pe wot hot is at 90% tps . Not so good you'll be running lean untill you get into it wot hot is set at 45% with the tune i have now .
Do you know anyone with a Gm tech 2 great tool for tunning on the road log and tune
i could go on and on <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Jim, should I change my WOT PE with the stock injectors?
Also, is there anything else I can change in Edit to make it better till I can buy injectors?
Are those RC 42 lb injectors ready to plug right in when you buy them?
Do you have a part #? Ballpark $?
Again, I REALLY appreciate the help. I am trying to do it right, as I can afford it. I realize the importance of not running lean, and want to make it work right. I have a little experience at Edit, but I don't know the fuel yet.
Thanks a million! <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" /> Sam
BTW- No Tech 2, but I do have Atap and LS1Edit.
