Default Fuel pump problems

i have an inline pump on my truck that i got from magnacharger. i noticed the last couple days that it wasnt working. so i got a test light out today and started testing to see if everything was ok. the gray stock pump wire where i have it tapped into will light up when the light is on it but as soon as i plug in into the prongs on the relay the light will go out, so when its plugged in, its not gettin fire, but unplugged it is. i have everything plugged in right on the relays prongs. i even bought a new relay and tried that but it didnt help.

any ideas?

lol thought i would just suggest the obvious.

if you plug into the relay and get no power, it sounds like the relay is bad or maybe some wiring going off of it......just thinking out loud

well i bought a brand new relay and that didnt fix it. the gray wire where i spliced into is gettin fire then theres the wire that runs from that and plugs into the relay. the end of the wire with the plug is gettin fire as well but as soon as its plugged into the relay its not. the new relay didnt fix this problem either

that, or it could be a short in your wiring.
