Default Fuel pump questions

I've been thinking about how to fuel the Escalade project. Its going to need an intank pump for sure. Warlbro makes a 340L pump that would handle the fuel, but will it fit a trucks fuel system? Are the car and trucks fuel pumps the same design?

Parish8, I know you have probably looked into this before, do you know anything?

yea i know, i know no one can answer the question you just asked because i asked everyone i could get ahold of. i didn't want to go with an aux inline pump but that was the only option i could get good info on.

racetroncs told me something about being able to use in intank unit for the camaro with modification but them not recomending it. we aperaenty have some kind of prepump or pre filled storage tank to help the pump from sucking air.

i went with the aux high presure 340 inline running full speed continuasly mainly because it was cheap and had a prety good chance of taking care of my needs, anyone with a serious drag only truck i would say go for a fuel cell and some big *** pump. for your set up i don't know what to tell you, money doesn't seem to be a problem so it would be nice to set him up right but i dont know that anyone has done it.

one other thing, i am not sure if we are talking about the same pump for sure. i went with the 340 pump but that 340 is not the flow, it is a 255L/hr pump. seems like they make at least 4 versions of the 340 pump, an intank or an inline, standard presure or high presure. i could get you the number for the high presure inline if you decide you need it but it is the pump that speed inc sells for $144.99

parish/richard, the 340 inline 255l/hr is the one i am planning to use on my motor. i got it on a GP a week or so ago. i hope it'll take care of my motor and nitrous use needs.

does the inline have to be on all the time? or can you set it up to run from a switch to only have it on when you want it on.

Thanks Jim. I had a feeling you had done your research on this. Lingenfelter uses the Kenne Bell boost a pump on their FI trucks. I need to ask them what they are doing for fuel on the turbo EXT. Probably a stock pump with 18 volts pushing it. Do you know what the expected life cycle is for your inline pump? I may get one of them to be on the safe side.

Here is what I have so far:

No physical dimensions. The two pumps look very similar. The Fbod has the fuel pressure regulator located just off the pump as shown with lines 2 & 3. It appears the trucks pump is longer than the car. That would make sense.
