So I guess fate was mad at me for having so much fun in the truck this weekend...
I took on the 10 minute job of hooking up my fuel pressure sender, and viola... Fitting cracked and screwed up the threads on the pass over... So I need to pull off the bastard fuel cross over pipe BUT I can't figure out this new fangled GM fuel return line fitting. It's like a Chinese finger puzzle I swear...
So I have some fuel line removers ($20 plastic rings) from swaping rails on the old mustang, but they don't seem to work.
Help? I'm fuel rail challenged :banghead:

It was the $20 plastic tool I have. I was just using the wrong size $20 plastic tool lol.
You just slide the ring up inside the silver part of the fuel line, squeeze the ring and the silver part together and pull the line off. It just doesn't work if you use the Ford fuel rail sized tool

If you're talking about the fittings that are circled in green in the linked pic then you need the little plastic fuel line removal tools. Just put the tool in the fuel line connector. Then push the fuel line in some(towards the tool) while also pushing the tool and move the tool around a little to help release the prongs that hold everything together. Once the prongs are released the fuel line will pull right off. It takes a little fiddling sometimes but, the lines will come off.
