Default fuel system questions...

Ok, I have a fuel system left over from an F-Body project that got sold off. Basically we were going to run a sumped tank and an external fuel pump on the car with -8 fuel feed line and a regulator and return style setup. With the truck we're working on we are keeping the stock tank most likely so how would we make it a return style system, and how would we convert the stock unit into an AN fitting setup? Going to replace ALL fuel lines with -8, if we can't mate this all up we'll just use a 12 gallon cell with an A1000 or something but I would prefer to use a stock style pump like a Walbro and just mate the setup to AN line/fittings. Anyone with any info would be greatly appreciated.

J

they offerd returnstyle on older trucks. mine has one being an 02

as for return setup..
of course you will need a feed line and return line. both will need to go back to the tank. one will have pump on it and other will have it drain fuel back into the tank.

as for what one looks like on a truck. go to the FI section and search for a User named Domination and look for his Turbo project

he ran all large braided lines for the turbo truck setup

this truck is a 2001 so it should be return style also, the question was how do you convert the stock fuel sending unit (tank end) over to AN fittings?

sent him one, I'll probably end up going to a sumped tank in the bed later on, but for now I just want to do it as "covert" as possible. What are you running for fuel on your truck?
