Default Fueling problems since intercooler

I'm having trouble with my fueling all around since I installed the griffin intercooler. First, I am going lean at the top end say above 4500rpm. Second, my l-trims are stuck on zero, and IFR adjustments won't make them go negative. Would an air leak cause either of these conditions?

Your ltrims are 0 all the time? Or just WOT?

A pre-maf air leak won't do anything, but a post-maf leak could cause problems.

I think efilive can log injector duty cycle.(EASE only does pulsewidth) Somebody with efilive can confirm this. You need to figure out how to log those to see if you're running out of injector.

I found avg base pulse width bank one and the same for bank two...

ltrims are 0 all the time now. That was what I meant... post maf leak.

I think that bad 02 is causing the weird l-trims. When it throws an 02 code, it goes into open loop mode until you clear the code. That would cause ltrims to stay at 0 all the time.

I ordered two new front o2's this morning, but they wont be here for a couple of days. Napa wanted $107.00 each, so screw that.. I just ordered them.

When I had an 02 go out, I could clear the code, and go for a few drives before it would throw the code again and go into open loop. Maybe you could do that to see if it solves your ltrim issue.

how do you know if it is in open loop? I don't have a code right now... it has been a few days since it threw it.

Black, I did log avg base pulse width(2 pid's banks 1 &2) and hit 23ms@5200rpm. That would equal 104% duty cycle if I understand the calculation correctly.

Hopefully I just have an air leak and a bad o2

ps. tranny made it to anchorage this morning.

I have an air/fuel ratio guage in my guage pod. It would stay rich instead of switching back and forth. My ltrims would also stay at 0. Check to see if there are any stored codes with efilive. If so, clear them.

Yep, you did the calcs correctly. Sounds like you are maxing those injectors. That explains your lean problem after 4500. I'll bet that, and the 02 are your problems.
