Future plans...
Hey guys, before I swap out my 4.3L V6 for a 5.3L V8 in my 2003 Reg Cab Silverado, what cam would you guys recommend if I want to spray a 100 shot? Im not looking for anything near or over 400 RWHP on motor. But I do want the cam to work well with the Juicy Juice.
Also what suspension setup will ensure the best traction and stability in corners and on the straightaway? Lets say with the the right tires and wheels for both situations.
So far my plans will be to have a stock 5.3L bottom end, stock 5.3L heads (only springs and pushrods with cam), Victor Jr Intake, Accel throttle body, upgraded fuel system, single stage nitrous plate kit, Long Tube headers, and some other minor mods. My transmission and rear end will depend on my engine mods etc. It would look something similar to this...

A TR220 seems to be working well in the 5.3s. Throw some cal-tracs on the rear, lower it with the hotckis tvs system with the sways front and rear. It will go a long way to helping traction, and handling. That manifold is nice. Do you have a link to that on wilsons website? I didnt see it.

I would go with a big *** cam something along the lines of an f11-13, that intake and 4 barrell will work well with some compression n20 and a larger cam. I would go with at least a 10.5:1 SCR, youve got the top half that limits most from a bigger cam if you can make 400 NA why not. I think youve got the potential to have a killer setup there
