well then, start saving for the 4L80e and do it once. Expecially because you tow. As matter of fact if I was to start over I would buy the highest level FLT 4L80e I couldn't afford before doing any other mod and never look back.

would the 80e lv.4 be good enough cuz i could use the extra 1000 bucks between prices on level 4 and 5 80e's on radix kit

Interesting I didnt know there was a aluminum 5.3 block, Unfortunately, my selective reading has never caught that. lol

yeah they are rare and can handle some power as bill has so kindly proven

i also just added a magnaflow Y with hiflow cats that are making a very stange noise almost like a knocking sound and i thought it might be a rocker but sound is definatly coming from kats im certain of it. any thoughts on it? or do i just need a tune?

the 4l80e is something i noticed early, i knew the 60e's sucked in camaros, then i saw you guys tear them to pieces at much lower power levels in these trucks.
I would go with the 80e even if it puts the blower back a few months or whatever. Because i know if you dont baby your 60e you could blow it up in a week with the ole radix

I would think so, at least as far as you can push the 5.3 and radix yeah but call FLT on Monday and talk with them about it. They are the pro's that know.

Yes, the L33 was produced for 2 years iirc and was first offered in the ecsb z71 only in 2005. We not only have aluminum block, but coated flat top pistons, and 243 heads.
