heres the thing with my truck... i had volant CAI, and JBA shorties when i got dyno tune. now i have magnaflow Y and borla catback..... the cats r making funny noises like a knocking sound almost as if the air is bouncing in them...is this cuz i need a tune?

Is it when you let off the gas and coast? if it is you might be running rich and need a tune

no, the sound is always there through-out rpm range? i got under truck and both cats r making this sound and im certain its coming from the cats. ill try and post a video tomorrow.

looks like i have 3.42's GU6.... would it be better to keep them or go with the little shorter 3.73's? again keepin in mind i tow daily

What size tire are you running, if bigger than 30" i would go with 4.10's. that will help you get off the line with less rpm, and your cruising rpms wont go up that much. my main point is you want to match it with the tire

the cats are prob fuked..sounds like there broken apart
and oh ya go with the 4.10's if tow alot
