gears will require some sort of adjustment to the PCM. So both. But Id get posi/gears 1st.

What size tire are you running? You might want to consider steeper gears if you're running something over 31".

But you should get some type of computer mod so your odometer and speedo are happy! Posi is a must too!

Tune the gears. If you get a tune from Nelson and then get the gears you can get your pcm updated for shift points and etc...for free. There might be some other tuners that offer free updates but if not they will charge you like 20-40 bucks. Your gonna wish you had gottena tune when your shift points are screwed plus the main benifits from a tune the HP and driveablility!

Default gears

I would have to say go with the gears first. That way when you get a tune you will have it tuned for the gears you want to run. If you get the tune first then you will want to retune after you get the gear.

basicly i say get the tune first since you're going to need the pcm reprogrammed for the gear anyway. if you can only afford one at this point then a gear isn't going to do you much good unless you can get it tuned at the same time. if you get the tune first, when it comes time to put more gear in you will have already have been driving around with the tune (nice advantage) and most tuners are very cheap for the retune.
