Get me to 13 seconds

oops, forgot to mention that I have efans too. Sorry. I just did some calculations and based on my race weight, i'm right in line with guys like blownchevy and moregrip who have radix kits. I guess i'm not as disappointed now. I really need to get this big pig down the track faster though.
The plan: Get the truck down to Dez to have Slowhawk properly tune it
Blower cam(maybe)
Fix my f'd up SMC kit (i've had the same 2qts of meth for months)
Find a set of smaller tires
Lose the tailgate and tonneau cover
drop the spare tire
install the Mac intake
find a really skinny friend to drive for me(i'm 230lbs)
Thats all I can think of for now. Can't afford headers right now, can't afford the cam either. Still waiting on the intercooler info from metalman which i can't afford either.

I always thought that it was better to leave the tonneau on cause it reduced drag, and take off the tailgate for weight reduction. But I dunno for sure, I just figured that since people bought tonneaus for fuel economy sometimes that it would reduce drag. Anyone else know?

Jake's right. They won't bother you with the laptop. They just don't want you making adjustments down the track.
Leave the 10lb pulley on there, go see Slowhawk at DEZ Racing and leave it alone from there. When you get the dough, buy a set of LT's.
14.7 is PDG for 6300lbs.

I'm sure i can shave off a few tenths with proper tuning and some weight reduction. I can easily lose 100lbs i think by removing the tailgate and spare tire. Also, once we get some cooler nights that should help too. I'm looking into tires now. I think i'm gonna get some bfg at's in 265/75/16. This is a big truck and i think anything smaller will look bad. I may even go to 285/75's. Not sure. hmmmm.

That MPH is pretty low. A 13 sec time slip would be in the high 96+MPH range I bet based on my past cars. You'd also have to score a sick 60' as well.
Get some headers, a good tune, and perhaps some drag slicks. Oh and lose some weight, you and the truck!
