Getting ready to install comp 220/220 .581/.581 112, want input inside....
so, i want to put a mild stall in it, joshluther keeps trying to beat it into my head to get a yank 3000. For some reason i want to go a little lower, more like a 2800 or so, but i'm also considering a 3200. ( i know, it's a big spread )
any ideas on how this cam will act, and what stall i should run for a daily driver. it'll see the track probably twice a year at most.
application: reg cab shortbed stepside 5.3 with 4.10 gears

Just an FYI I have a 3900 Fuddle in a FAR heavier truck and it is very streetable the verter is nice and tight and doesnt take much effort to get moving at all. I have also towed about 4K#s with it with no problems. I would get the 3200 FUddle if I were you.

I agree. With 4.10's just install a little advance in the cam and you could easily get away with a 2600-2800. The light truck will get moving pretty easy with 4.10's anyway. Going with a 3K stall over a 2600 stall will net you maybe .1-.2 in the 1/4.
The difference in price from a TB stall and Yank SST3200 is enough to buy a dry N2O kit. LOL

i would go with the tci sf3000. i have been more than happy with mine. it is great for the street. i really wish i wouldve went a little higher but this is still a great stall, and its very reasonable on price $350. think about it. oh yeah and it dropped my et by about 3.5-4 tenths.
