I got a single in single out hooker aero chamber on my truck last week. I love teh sound, all the ricers dont know what they are messing with until I nail it and then scream by them. The hookers are nice a quiet at idle you can hear a slight bass from under the bed but nothing like my old 2 chambers on my 350. but when you stomp on it they turn heads . I have mine dumped right after the muffler and they just sound great.

If your every around College Station I wouldnt mind meeting up and letting you hear it. I know I dont have true daul but you can still tell what they sound like. I was told going true dual on my stock set up I would lose a lot of low end and I dont need that.

You can listen to the sound clip i made but it is poor qaulity so the sound doesnt really come threw as it would in person.

I didn't mention what the exhaust shop said. I brought them the mufflers for them to do the work. I returned about a week later for a leak check. They all complimented me on them. At first I was a bit sceptical cause they were so quiet at idle, but they were extremely deep.

I came back again cause I found a banging pipe under there. The guy that was doing the work said last time I was in they were all out listening to me leave cause they thought it sounded so good.

I figured that when I brought them the mufflers, instead of buying them from them they would be a little more reluctant to compliments or anything like that, but they talk about it everytime. The last time I was in the owner was out there while it was on the lift idling, and was tlaking about how much he liked it. I'm curious to see if they end up stocking them now.

I'm always getting compliments on it around town too.

That's what I have on my truck, and I love it. Makes my lil' 4.8 sound deep and mean. Very little interior resonance and real deep at idle. It starts to scream at WOT.

As for the Aerochambers, I hear good things and I was considering those but no one stocks them in town here. I've heard them on f-body's and they sound nice.

Mine were a little more to get installed though. It was a little more than a whack and weld job though, pure art work. I'll try and get some pics of it tomorrow while the suns still out.

Well I only had one muffler and all he welded was the front of the muffler. they used a clamp on the turn down which I was happy with at first. I never had a truck with dumped exhaust and if i didnt like it i wanted to be able to change it easily.

I'm a fan of Magnaflow and Dynomax Ultraflow's straight-through design. These are quiet and peaceful at idle and normal cruising but get mean wide open. The larger the can the quieter they will be.

I have Dual 5x11x22 Magnaflows 3" in/out with 2.5" balance pipe aft of rear O2 sensors.

They sound like this:
