Was that with the 80e? It sounded more like the 60e, but then you have those nice long highway gears too.

That does sound nice.

Another thing I forgot to mention is I lost a pound or so of boost when I put those mufflers on replacing the single in dual out ChokeMaster.

Sure is. It's got a stock converter right now through. We're talking 1900 RPM stall!

Very good point - I lost 1 pound of boost as well. The nifty thing about that is that on a blown motor freeing up the exhaust and reducing backpressure makes it faster despite the reduced manifold pressure. That just means it's taking more in.

ok, so should i not get the x and duals because ill lose all my low end torque. The only thing that i might be putting on the truck in the next few months would be tranny work, headers, plugs & wires, intake, posi, custom tune, (maybe nitrous)and lightening it up a little. On my camaro i lost a little bit of my low end with my exhaust but the top end was off the hiezy fo shiezy. J/k. the top end did turn out a lot nicer though.

If you are dead set on going true duals, I'd definantly go with a x-pipe. That should create a little back pressure for ya.

Well im probably annoying everyone with my questions but as you can see i dont know much. Nobody has explained to me any further about the x other than it helps the flow. I also wanted to get it because every vehicle ive ever heard one on sounds mean as crap even if they hadnt done anything else to the car. As i stated earlier performance is the most important factor so if i can do something else im for it. I just wanted to build up without having to rebuild later when i did get the power adders whatever they may be(cam, nitrous, blower, etc). Like i said im new so please continue to give me your opinions. Im learning
