Default Give me a run down on E85

I have tried to read but there are so many different pieces of info that say one thing and others say different. I searched and read some but never really got a grasp.

What does it do for FI guys. Is it somthing that needs to be tuned for? Can you set up a truck like mine with a COS3 to run both premium/E85?

Just trying to get an idea. I hope to take my truck to the dyno in the next few months when it cools down some and get some numbers and try to have it tuned so i can get the most out of it!

Its alcohol. Cleaner burning and can take more timing.

I read that several times, but why do a bunch of boost guys like it so much other than timing advance?

You will need to add 30% more fuel to your tune. Octane is around 105 and it drops the intake air charge about the same as methanol. Awesome for F/I, but will suck for gas mileage. Expect about a 30% decrease in mpg.
