Can we still used the old style thermostat housing with the 07 thermostat?

What part number did you buy for the thermostat, 100228? Because I found this part number but it says 04-06, 07 Classic and 100229 for 07. I think we need the 229, right?

Check to see what you have.

Wow, thanks. Definitely looks like the one on the right curves more for the new water pump inlet angle, thanks!

No mods to accessories because the upper radiator hose doesn't come out the front like the F-bodies and vette water pumps that were used for these swaps in the past.

I haven't read this whole post but isnt our truck manifolds better than the ls1 and ls6?

With bolt ons only, most likely, but once you get big cubed, cammed and new heads the truck manifold holds you back at upper RPM's.
