I'd check to see if your getting crazy KR or something. My Blazer would stop pulling and making power at 4000rpms and actually start to slow down. Luckaly it ended up being the fuel filter.

Braggin about what you trucks ran does'nt really help the guy out.

Do you have any type of data logging software at your disposal? Or are their any shops in your area that do? You need to get data from the vehicle to see what's happening. There are a TON of things that can go wrong with forced induction that can cause you to see lackluster results. Fuel delivery, spark control, and timing are just a few of the first things I would look at. I've seen ATI equipt F-bodies dyno 370rwhp after slapping on the blower kit only to turn around and have some custom tuning done on the dyno and slam down 460rwhp with no other additional mods.... Just some food for thought.

On 5psi you should be trapping in the high 90s if everything is done right or maybe more depending on other mods and such. On a G-Tech you should be even higher than that if you are using it correctly since they tend to throw up higher traps than a real track.

Get us some data and there are a lot of guys on here than can advise you from that point.

I think we only posted our times to let him see that something was wrong since he has a STS kit; he should definitaly be faster.

Hell since you know so much you should fly down there and help the guy out.

My point was that he already knows something is wrong since he didn't gain more than maybe 4mph with kit.

I don't know ****. The more I learn the less I realize I know.

If you have a laptop with a serial port, you can usually pick up a scan program for around $100 in the classified section. With some logs Im sure Nelson could figure out whats wrong. Do you hear any detonation?

I hear guys on here talk about billet servos and a piston or somthing for these 4l60 trannys, would that help me or should I get a 4l80? Also when I get this thing right what do you guys think it should run in the 1/4?
Thanks again

Where are you at in Cali? We are in fremont, maybe we can help you sort through your problems for your STS.

Thanks Rick. I called you the other day and we chatted a bit about this. I'm about 40 miles south of fresno. I'm sure I'll be up there shortly. You take mastercard right?
I'm just trying to get as much done as close to home as possible. Thats a hellava drive with a 5-7 drop on 20s. Would it mess with my computer if I put my stocks on for the drive or would that effect the dyno tune compared to my 20s. I still need to call nelson and c if he locks the pcm or not. Thanks for the help.
