Default Going to the dyno.

I'm off to the dyno in about an hour. I just installed the SMC alcohol kit and I'm bringing the HPtuner with me. We'll see how it turns out. I have no idea what to expect for RWHP. I'll post up the results tonight.

Sweet.

I may be able to sneak up to NED this Friday... do you think a small GTG could materialize?

Ok, here are the results. The best run was 322rwhp and 405torque

I know it's not tuned right yet, but that's a good start. I installed the alcohol injection kit, but still see mad KR. I went thru 3/4 gallon of alcohol today alone. That doesn't seem right.

I went to Performance Dyno in Concord,NH. Cool guys. they fixed my air/fuel ratio for me. It was totally f'd up. One of these days I want to have someone dyno tune this thing to really dial it in.

You are still getting alot of KR? What setting do you have your kit set at? How much timing are you running?? What was the temp??? So they leaned you out to compensate for the alcohol??? Ive heard alot of people say that they are able to run quite a bit of boost and timing with alcohol. Maybe the nozzle you are using is too small.

I'm gonna try to log a run with the HP tonight or tomorrow to to see if the alcohol is helping or not. I guess it probably was the alcohol causing me to run real rich. I never thought of that. I think if anything, the nozzel is too big. I went thru 3/4 gallon yesterday. That seems like a lot. I have the Pump speed **** set at 6, I have no idea where it should be set. The spray on point is set at 6psi. I still saw 4deg KR. according the the directions, i should increase the pump speed ****, but, I'm concerned about the amount of alcohol I will use on a daily basis. that ***** expensive.

I have a 675ml nozzle (pretty big) and I have a progressive system that turns the alcohol on at 3psi and full on at 7. I have the full on set at 7 since Im waiting for a little time to drop my truck off and have the intake tubing modified so that I can bot on the bigger bypass and run 12#. You should have your alky coming on as soon as possible without bogging the motor, I dont think a 6# start on is doing anything.

I cranked up the pump speen yesterday on the way to work. No bogging and no KR. I see how this thing works now. I don't know how to figure out how to set the "spray on" point though. I was told it is set at 6psi.
