ive been looking at the radix w/ intercooler and it seems a lot easier to install.. I get to keep the lts and ory, and it comes with a programmer and injectors, but it costs a bit more than the turbo but not much. they say base run on the 5.3 was 264 hp and they got 392whp after they installed the s/c.
i like turbochargers more. but superchargers can be fun too. just doin my reseach b4 i make any choices.

they are the magnacharger models, bill has the 112 and is making 600+ but he has a lot of supporting mods to get there, the 122 is a larger blower that makes more power!

Just another opinion: I do LOVE my turbo and am WAY pleased with the performance when I nail it. Haven't been beat yet although I look forward to it...just wish there was something suitable to run other than Mustangs, f-bodys and standard vettes. Been lurking around for a Porche turbo or a Viper to kill in 4WD but nothing yet. Not talking about the track, there are a multitude of cars faster than me. I do believe though that for part throttle drivability with big block torque that a TVS or even a maggie would be more fun at the rpm band that most folks drive in. You do have the exhaust already and the mag of any kind is a complete kit. For ultimate WOT performance I would put my money on the turbo, yes even an sts...I chose it for a reason. My engine compartment is virtually undisturbed and my exhaust is stock and emissions legal. For all out performance and speed, your not gonna beat a front mount... end of story. However, for low end drivability like a big block, a pd charger is going to be hard to beat and it's still damn fast. The STS is kinda in between. If the TVS would've been available a year ago it would've been a no brainer for me. Still though, a 1.69 on 20's at full weight, I was real happy with.

so the 112 will make the power I need. Now I need new tires then a 4l80.after this is done I'm getting the maggie and hopefully everything will go well. I'm guessing 285/70/17 for the tires?
