i ran a 232/236 .600ish 112lsa in my 5.3 with a stock verter and my 60' didn't suffer any from the stock cam...i think it actually gained if i remember correctly...you can make up for a little doggyness in the tune

cool thanks guys. the truck will be a dd i dont know if it will ever make it to the track maybe once or twice but the 2800-3000 sounds good. what about the cam selection what kind of gains should i expect?
