Default A good cam for my ls1 5.7

Im looking for a cam for my ls1 5.7 a nice im trying to build it to hit 12s

people will be able to help you out a lot more if you let them know what you expect from the cam as far as driveability, are you a single cab, is it a daily driver, or just track or both, you going strictly for performance, are you full bolt on..etc.

you should get 12's pretty easily with full bolt on's 3400 stall and lets say a 228r cam... stay in the 22x for good driveabillity

koo welll its a 2002 silverado single cab am planig to used it for both street and track i wannna fo fulll boltons n plannig to do some ported n polish heads

228r with a 3400 and 373 or 410 gears will get you there.

ok kooo oi got the 373 gear already installl so wat about the heads wat be goood to match that cam.. you sa 228 with how much lift on it
..

texas speed 228r might work better with a 3600 stall. 243 heads would work great with that cam.

i say a tsp220 would match well with a 3200-3400
.581 lift will complement the better flowing 243s
the 220s well proven look at blue cajuns truck,he has a tr220!
I am not a fan of big cam in LS motors
