Default Good enough for 11.99????

So I've decided on staying n/a. I'm hoping to get into the 11's with keeping it lifted with no spray. If I do the following mods do you guys think it's possible?
1. 227/231-111 cam lsl lobes
2. New fast truck intake ported by tea, w102 mm tb
3. 26 inch drag slicks
4. Possibly e85 gas with tune

right now I ran 11.96@102.4 with 31.5x10.5 bfg allterrains

I think you may have a shot at it. The short tire will fix that 60' time. I'd say between an 11.8-12.2 should be doable. Hard to say if that will be enough cam or not. Good cam choice though.

Maybe if you can get it light enough, and run in 2wd. Your going to have to pick up close to 100+ HP, and tq.

I don't see you dropping a second off your time with those mods. I hope you can prove me wrong but in all reality it probably won't happen.

You are looking at spending $2000 with cam intake and slicks, if you were considering it why not spend $500-$700 squeeze it and make your goal with almost certainly. I just dropped 1.06 off my time with a 100 shot. I understand there are plenty of ways to get to a goal but time and money spent nitrous is just so much more efficient. Then after you hit the time you are looking for spend the time and money to cam, intake and all the internal mods. Good luck either way you choose.

He did mean 12.96.

It will be really close. As long as you can get that 60' down to about a 1.6x or low 1.7x and have a tuner that knows what they are doing. My guess would be 12.2 with the stall you have now. Maybe putting a 4k in like Stock48 said would make it to the 11's like you want.
