well after the time i have spent on this truck, alot of offroading is not in it's future, maby mud here and there, but not deep water. what all is required for an ls1 fan install, i just don't want to do alot of modding to get it done right.

No not at all. Get a set of LS1/LT1 fans, get the harness, have the PCM programed to turn the fans on at whatever temp. Pull the fan shroud. Put a big cressent wrench, or pipe wrench on the clutch fan coupling (where it screws on to the pulley) a few swats with a hammer and it should break loose so you can spin it off easy. Pull the lower fan shroud if you havent already. Drop the LS1 fans in (they will sit on the rail under the radiator. cut a couple pieces of aluminum flat bar, drill holes in them and bolt to the holes in the upper crossmember for the 34" radiator on the HD's. Put the aluminum facing up, and snug down the bolts and slightly bend the flat bar, loosen th ebolts and spin them down to hold the fans in. Install the wiring harness, and take off. Takes about an hour or two depending on how mutch of a PITA the clutch fan decides to be, and your mechanical ability.

Not for the LS1/LT1 fans. They work on the stock 5.3 radiator. If you get a 34" Im not sure if they fit ok or not. If you get the 34"er Id just get a set of 05 fans.
