They don't in my area. You could always have some "fakes" there for visual.

lose the cats and save alot of money, and better performance. pacesetter makes a ory for the 4x4. tune out the rear o2 sensors. we can get you around inspection no prob dont even need "fake cats"
go with ls1 fans and whites harness over the fal's and nelsons harness to save a ton of money. it will take about 5 minutes to make brackets for the ls1 fans to work. you can get the fans for less than 100. definately go with nelson 93 octane tune and have him activate the fans for a 160* thermo(were in houston...its ****** HOT! use a 160 thermo)
cut a 3" hole in the bottom of your factory airbox for free.
use the saved money from the FAL's, harness, and cats and buy a trailblazer stall. their cheap and effective . youll probably still be in budget for a tru-cool tranny cooler. you can drive my truck if you want if your afraid of how it will act. its a very tight converter.

i like it all except the 93 tune, too much money, in the long run, and a TB stall is what i would get if i get a stall, but i just need to see how much money i'll have at the end of the summer. also i have put 12,000+ miles on my truck since august so gas priceds going up and reliabliity are a HUGE factor in anything i do, since i will only once take this to the track, just to see what it would run

You'll get better fuel mileage w/ the 93 tune. I drive 3K+ miles a month and only use 93 V-Power gas from Shell. IMO, it's only a few dollars more but way better in the long run.

to me the extra money a month for a few extra Hp just really aint worth it, just can't justify it in my mind, i'm not turning this thing into a weekend racer, i am not in persuit of high HP, i just want more. what might work for sume dosen't work for others, i don't work during the school year, so for me to pay enextra $10 a week is a big deal to me.

Sorry to be a postdigger, but was searching for info on doing LS1 fans in my truck down the road (no time at the moment except to think about it)
First of all I'll post this for anyone who's interested....a write-up done by "agrief" over on the pacificp.com board: http://james.jaguar.net/agreif/fans/fanstech.htm
Just had a few questions too w/ regard to the harness & fans: First, the harness entirely eliminates the need for the VSC, correct?
Second, I have an HPP3 (Dad gave it to me when he sold his 04 Avy). Is that device going to be best used as a doorstop after this mod, i.e., am I going to have to have the PCM programmed for the fans and then will be unable to use the HPP3?
And anybody ever have GM warranty issues over these things? And how is the reliability in extreme heat (120*), or in very wet conditions, i.e., driving off road through 1ft deep water? Is my factory 105amp alternator going to fry after a months?
Thanks for any help...$100-$200 for 2+ mpg is pretty much a no-brainer at the moment, it'd be a question of time.
